🌺 Specimen: The Wartcrown Bloom
Sold out£20.00
The Wartcrown Bloom opens in vivid pink petals edged with pale cream, encircling a dense, green mouth lined with small, uneven teeth. Its central flesh is studded with wart-like nodules, giving the impression of something half-formed and unwillingly floral. When viewed head-on, the bloom appears faintly displeased.
🍄 Habitat & Folklore:
Said to favour overgrown borders and places where ornamental plants were abandoned rather than removed. Folklore claims these blooms arise when the garden resents being tamed, reshaping beauty into something more defensive.
💀 Warnings:
Avoid frequent handling. The warts are believed to increase in number when the specimen is moved too often, particularly during warm weather.
🎨 Sculptor’s Note:
Hand-sculpted with bright pink petals, a textured green centre with tooth detailing, and fern-like foliage. Set in a mossed terracotta pot. A bold, confrontational specimen—cheerful at a distance, disagreeable up close.
