Field Guide Entry: Terrarium Seedlings

  1. Classification: Germinae Oculata
  2. Habitat: Moss-lined glass domes, shaded soil beds, forgotten corners of greenhouses
  3. Behaviour: Terrarium Seedlings are born in pairs or clusters, their rounded forms crowned with tender shoots. Their wide, unblinking eyes watch quietly from beneath their leaves, as though recording the world’s secrets. At dusk, faint vibrations can be felt from their roots, believed to be a form of silent communication.
  4. Warning: Though small and seemingly harmless, folklore insists that their roots hunger for more than water. Some whisper they feed on stray thoughts left lingering in the mind.

Sculptor’s Note:

Each Terrarium Seedling is hand-sculpted and encased beneath glass, a living oddity captured at the earliest stage of its strange growth. Gentle guardians for shelves, desks, or mossy alcoves, they thrive best when left undisturbed. Two seedlings will be chosen at random
