💋 Specimen: The dahlia's Kiss
Sold out£20.00
📜 Field Guide Notes:
The Dahlia’s Kiss opens in crisp layers of cream petals edged with rose, framing a small, pink mouth set with fine teeth. The bloom carries a distinctly sassy posture—petals tilted just so, as if mid-retort. Its expression suggests judgement rather than invitation, and it appears entirely aware of being admired.
🍄 Habitat & Folklore:
Said to thrive in well-kept gardens where flowers were praised too often. Folklore claims these blooms develop mouths purely to express displeasure, learning attitude long before hunger.
💀 Warnings:
Do not reposition unnecessarily. Frequent adjustments are believed to worsen its temperament, causing the petals to sit sharper and the mouth to purse.
🎨 Sculptor’s Note:
Hand-sculpted with cream and pink dahlia-style petals, a delicately toothed centre, and bright green foliage. Set in a mossed terracotta pot. A bold, expressive specimen—ornamental, opinionated, and unapologetic.
