📜 Field Guide

The Scarlet Mawthorn is an Eldergrowth of the Poison Garden, towering with scarlet petals, fern fronds, and a ridged green bud lined with teeth. Folklore tells it shares its ancestry with the infamous Audrey 2, both said to have fallen from the stars. Some whisper that its seed was carried on a drifting fragment of rock, rooting where shadow and moss would take it. More beast than bloom, its gaze is unyielding, its hunger legendary.

🍄 Habitat

Mawthorns favour deep, shaded glades where ferns choke the ground. Legends claim they grow strongest where earth feels oldest, as though remembering the place they first fell.

⚠️ Warning

Never dismiss its appetite. Old tales warn that a Scarlet Mawthorn demands more than water and light, and those who fail to offer enough risk finding themselves the meal.

🎨 Sculptor’s Note

Each Scarlet Mawthorn is hand-sculpted and painted, towering above smaller blooms. No two carry quite the same balance of scarlet and shadow.
