📜 Field Guide Notes:

The Throatbloom opens in petals of indigo and wine-red, its centre forming a twisted mouth instead of an eye. Violet lips curl into a cruel smile, and between them glimmer pale teeth 🦷. Some say it hums faintly at dusk, a sound felt in the chest rather than heard.

🍄 Habitat & Folklore:

Said to sprout at crossroads and grave paths, the Throatbloom was once feared as a messenger plant. Folklore tells of voices carried on its breath — curses, warnings, and sometimes the names of the newly dead ☠️.

💀 Warnings:

Do not lean close. Those who pressed their ear to its lips claimed to hear their own name whispered back.

🎨 Sculptor’s Note:

Hand-sculpted with layered petals, a fanged mouth, and a tiny skull relic in the soil, this eerie bloom is set in a mossed terracotta pot 🪴.
