13.🥀 Specimen: The Bellamaw

£20.00
Share

🌿 Field Description Its dark petals curl back to reveal a green pod bristling with jagged white teeth, slick and predatory. The maw gapes as though mid-snarl, framed by twisting stems that curl like grasping fingers. Around its base sprout glossy leaves and black berries unmistakably akin to Belladonna—beautiful, yet deadly in their own right. Collectors whisper that the Bellamaw is never truly still; its stem sways faintly even indoors, as though sniffing for prey.

🧪 Habitat & Folklore Said to thrive where wild nightshade runs rampant, the Bellamaw is considered a cursed hybrid, feeding on both soil and spirit. Folklore warns that its berries are decoys—the true danger lies in the waiting jaws.

💀 Warnings Do not touch the berries or the pod—both are toxic in their own way. Victims report sudden dizziness, blackened vision, and the sensation of teeth pressing down.

🎨 Sculptor’s Note Hand-sculpted and one of a kind, with snarling green maw, curling stem, and Belladonna foliage.
